Steve Cole is a best-selling children’s author whose sales exceed three million copies. His hugely successful Astrosaurs  young fiction series has been a UK top-ten children’s bestseller and been published widely internationally. His several original Doctor Who novels have also been bestsellers. An original comedy, fantasy and adventure writer, Steve’s work includes a broad range of books, from Cows in Action to the Secret Agent Mummy series, Magic Ink and four explosive Young Bond titles with Ian Fleming Publications.

Much in demand for his energetic performances at events, Steve has appeared at all major UK festivals including Edinburgh, Hay, Cheltenham, Oxford, Bath and World Book Day’s Biggest Bookshow on Earth. He has toured schools and festivals in Europe, America, the UAE, Australia and New Zealand, and featured at sci-fi conventions from London to Los Angeles.

Steve has given talks to reading helpers in Northampton and spoken about Coram Beanstalk at Wimbledon Bookfest.

I support Coram Beanstalk because I know their trained volunteers make such a difference to children who are falling behind with their reading: boosting their literacy skills and confidence, and laying those vital foundations for future success. As a society, we need what they do. We need more volunteers.
