Sophy Henn lives and works in Sussex, England. She writes and illustrates children's books in her studio, with a large cup of tea by her side, and can't quite believe her luck. Where Bear?, her first book, was nominated for both the Kate Greenaway Medal and shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize in 2015. Her other books include the Pom Pom series, Pass It On, Edie, Almost Anything, the Ted series and the upcoming Bad Nana series for young readers. She was also delighted to be World Book Day Illustrator for 2015 and 2016.

Sophy is hosting an event as part of the Reading is Magic festival 2020, a series of free digital online author and illustrator events over the course of 6 days between 27th September and 2nd October. Do have a look and sign up here to join her and illustrator Steven Lenton as they go head to head for a big draw off, with author Steven Butler on hand to make sure they behave themselves!

I am extremely proud to support the incredible work that Coram Beanstalk and Story Starters do. Providing that precious one to one support for children who need some extra help with their reading and putting books into the hands of children who might not otherwise have them. All of which is vital for these children to thrive and reach their full potential. What they do is completely life changing, in the most positive way.
