About the role

Beanstalk uses a variety of methods of capturing data on the progress of children who work with our trained reading helpers. One method is asking all trained reading helpers to complete a printed Reading Record at the beginning and end of their time with their children.

We require a number of interns to help with entering all the data that we receive from Reading Records and analysing the data this summer. 

Main Duties:

The Data Entry Intern will be responsible for;

  • Collating all information from the returned Reading Records
  • Analysing data from the Records
  • Saving the data in a user-friendly format i.e. spreadsheets

Skills you will learn whilst in this Internship:

  • Experience in the charity and education sector
  • Analysing both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Working with systems in order to keep all data in one place i.e. spreadsheets

Requirements: 

  • Good level of computer literacy
  • A good understanding of Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Research and data analysis skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK

Previous data entry experience would be desirable.
