AREA ADMINISTRATOR | 6 MONTH CONTRACT (with possibility to extend) 

Hours: 20 hours per week (working pattern is flexible in agreement with the line manager) 

Salary: £8.35 per hour 

Proposed start date: August 2016

Office: This role is based at our office in Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham. You may on occasion be required to travel to other Beanstalk offices.


About the role 
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is organised and IT literate to be the first point of contact for the volunteers and undertake administrative tasks to facilitate the smooth running of the area office. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.

Day to day tasks in this role include;

  • Processing application packs and arranging interviews
  • Producing letters, notices and reports as required
  • Stationery ordering, reference requests and room bookings
  • Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
  • Act as secretary to Area meetings and produce and circulate the minutes.
