Get to know us Our impact Our impact Coram Beanstalk believes: "Life changes when you choose reading" We know that schools will engage with our service to support children who may be falling behind with reading, however consistent one-to-one support brings a range of benefits to children that impacts their whole school experience and engagement. Working under the umbrella of shared, positive, reading experiences, our reading helpers and reading leaders get to know children as individuals and champion them to believe in themselves. This focused time and attention, and exploration of a range of books, helps children to become more confident in themselves, allowing them to engage more fully in school life. Primary Reading Helpers "We very much value our relationship with Coram Beanstalk. The reading volunteers are brilliant. They build really positive relationships with pupils. They have time for pupils in a way that teachers and teaching assistants don't."Headteacher, Argyle Primary SchoolImpact data for primary schools here Secondary Reading Leaders "I found the Reading Leaders programme to be very comprehensive and well planned. The students really enjoyed it and reported that they felt that it provided them with the confidence and knowledge to be effective reading leaders."Assistant Headteacher, Eltham High School Impact data for secondary schools here Manage Cookie Preferences
