Why not take on an exciting challenge and help to fight children's illiteracy in the UK? - On Saturday, May 19th 2018 we will be holding our new event – The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on a demanding 25 miles over the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, all to be completed in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the stunning Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

We invite you to take part in this picturesque adventure hike in order to give children across England the gift of literacy. The challenge is being exclusively run for Beanstalk supporters who will be accompanied by experienced North East Guides.

In order to secure your place on this exciting challenge please register by emailing [email protected] today!

We are looking to:

  • Recruit a minimum of 40 people for this
  • Sign up teams looking to complete the hike together
  • Ask each individual to set an aspirational fundraising target of £750 with the dedicated support of our fundraising team
  • Raise more than £30,000 for Beanstalk!

£30,000 could allow Beanstalk to provide a year of literacy support to over 150 children across the country and your individual commitment of £750 could provide over three years of dedicated support to a child struggling with their reading confidence and ability.

Registration fee of £35. This will provide ongoing fundraising support from Beanstalk, experienced guides on the day, insurance and completion certificates.
