Volunteer Coordinator | Brent | Part-Time & Term Time Hours: 20 hours per week (to be worked flexibly, in agreement with the line manager) Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term-time only) Area: This role primarily covers Brent so the ideal applicant would be based from or have easy access to this area. About the role As a Volunteer Coordinator you will have the ability to match the skills and energy of your volunteers with primary school children who are struggling with their reading.You must be professional and inspiring and have a pro-active attitude. We are looking for someone to drive forward volunteer recruitment for the charity across Brent and the surrounding areas, as well as support these volunteers in their school placements. You will need to be an effective communicator, who can build trust within the school environment and provide ongoing support for volunteers so they can work confidently with local children.
