23rd April 2020

During #COVID19 we are still working hard to help support children and families with their reading but during this difficult time we need your support more than ever. There will be lots more work to do once this is over and there will be many more children who will need our one-to-one support.

With large-scale fundraising events being postponed or cancelled we would love your help to raise vital funds and are delighted that so many people across the country are committing to take part in the 2.6 challenge!

It’s easy to get involved:

1. Dream up your 2.6 challenge

You could walk 2.6kms, read 26 books, flip 26 pancakes, watch 26 films. The possibilities are endless! Just come up with a challenge centred around 2.6 or 26.

2. Head to JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving

Donate £26 – or whatever you can afford – to Coram Beanstalk or to set up your own fundraising page.

3. Encourage donations

Ask your friends and family to sponsor you and challenge them to do their own 2.6 challenge.

4. Complete your challenge

But remember to keep in line with Government guidelines, observe social distancing rules and, of course, stay local.

5. Share!

Make sure you take a photo or video of your challenge on social media with #TwoPointSixChallenge, #TeamCoram and tag in @beanstalkreads on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook!

Thank you for your support and good luck!
