Applying for a role

Applicants are required to submit a CV, Supporting statement and Monitoring Form via email to [email protected].

Completing the Monitoring Form is optional, but we’d encourage you to share your details as being an equal opportunities employer is really important to us.

All submissions will receive an auto-response from our Recruitment Team acknowledging receipt of the application.

Once we’ve received your application, one of our recruitment team will review your CV, your skills and experience.

Closing Date

The closing date and time is specified on each advert. Candidates may be contacted prior to the closing date.

The shortlisting process

Once a vacancy has closed, all applications will be reviewed by the Recruiting Manager. Candidates will be contacted by email or telephone if successful at this stage.

As per the automatic response email, if you haven’t heard from Coram Beanstalk within 2 weeks of the closing date, you have not been shortlisted on this occasion.

Unfortunately, due to the large amount of applications we receive for each role we are unable to offer feedback at this stage of the application process.


If we’d like to progress your application, the next steps will depend on the type of role you’ve applied for. We might schedule in a short telephone / Skype interview or organise a face to face interview.

Our interviews are a two-way process; for us to explore further your suitability for the role and offering you the opportunity to expand on the skills and experience outlined in your application. We aim to give candidates as much notice as possible of their interview. All interview dates and locations are specified on each advert.

If shortlisted for interview, you will receive an email / telephone call informing you of this. An email providing further information on location, the panel and interview structure will be sent once you have confirmed your attendance.

After the interview

All candidates will be informed of the outcome of their interview and we aim to do this as soon as possible. The panel will advise on next steps at interview.

The Offer

If you are successful we will give you a call to give you the good news and to confirm all of the details of the offer and let you know what happens next.

Pre-Employment Checks

If we offer you the role we need to carry out some pre - employment checks. These include obtaining employment references. Coram Beanstalk require two written references, one from each of your most recent two employers. We’ll also need to ensure that you’re eligible to work in the UK.
