About the role

Join our successful, committed & energetic fundraising team to ensure we can achieve our annual fundraising target of £2.5 million and reach out to more children by 2020.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing experience, and develop your skills, in all aspects of Trusts and Foundations. 

You will be responsible for building relationships with and securing income from a portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations as well as maintaining current relationships and reporting back on funding.

You will need to be self-reliant and persistent in approach; work well under pressure and be able to manage a number of projects on time and to the highest possible standards.

Essential 

  • A track record of achieving fundraising targets and growing income from trusts and foundations.
  • Experienced in producing well written and persuasive fundraising applications.
  • Ability to build relationships with a portfolio of trusts and foundations to grow income and exceed targets.
  • Well organised; able to hit deadlines; highly numerate and literate, with excellent attention to detail. 

Desirable

  • Experience of using fundraising databases, e.g Raisers Edge

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: Barbican, London 

Salary: circa £25,000 pa.
