We are so delighted to have been asked to team up with our friends at Chicken House Books as they celebrate their 20th anniversary this year.

As part of its celebrations, the children's book publishing company has revealed a variety of exciting plans to mark the milestone, which include working with BA independent booksellers on a pay-it-forward book scheme to provide free books to young readers supported by Coram Beanstalk across the UK.

Ginny Lunn, Coram beanstalk's Managing Director, said:

“We are incredibly excited to be working in partnership with Chicken House Books this year as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. For us it’s particularly special when we have the opportunity to team up with like-minded people, such as the Chicken House Books team, who have a real passion for getting brilliant books into the hands of children. We’re also proud to name a number of their published writers as our ‘author supporters’ including Maz Evans, Chris Callaghan and Lucy Strange. The plans for Chicken House Books to deliver an exciting book donation initiative will directly benefit our reading helper volunteers and the children they support regularly on a one-to-one basis in primary schools. We are extremely thankful for the support they have pledged to us as we work towards helping many more children to read, grow and thrive.”

During it's anniversary year, Chicken House will also publish new books from its top authors, as well as reissuing contemporary classics throughout 2020.
