Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Salary: £18,000 per annum

Location: This role is based at our vibrant London hub located just 2 minutes’ walk from Barbican underground station. 

About the Role 

We are looking to recruit three new team members to join our administration team. 

Having recently developed a centralised administrative function to provide a comprehensive support service both internally and externally, we are looking for 3 x customer service champions to be the first point of contact for enquiries and to support the smooth running of the volunteer journey at Beanstalk. 

The ideal candidate

We are looking for an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills; a confident and professional telephone manner; strong attention to detail and with previous background working with a number of different computer programmes and databases - (previous experience of using Salesforce would be desirable but isn't essential).

You will be joining a cohesive and enthusiastic team; receive training on our processes and systems and be an integral part of our service. 

This is a varied role so it is essential you are able to prioritise your time to manage several tasks and maintain orderly systems.

Day to day tasks include:

  • Responding to volunteer enquiries over the telephone and by email
  • Processing new volunteer applications and keeping on top of individual pipeline
  • Following up with safeguarding checks including DBS’s, references, ID badges and relevant paperwork
  • Booking volunteers on to training and selection days
  • Maintaining accurate data on Salesforce (CRM system)
  • Processing expense forms
  • Supporting the wider Beanstalk team with administration as required
