IT Manager

Hours: 28 hours per week

Working Pattern: Over 4 or 5 days  (flexible in agreement with line manager) 

Salary: £37 - 42k per annum pro rata (depending on experience) 

Proposed start date: Sept / Oct 2016 

Location: Barbican, City of London

Closing Date: Friday 2nd September at 12 noon

About the role

This is a new post to enhance Beanstalk’s IT capabilities and manage significant IT projects to support the organisation in achieving our ambitious growth plans to 2020.

The role combines support to both Central Office (London) IT activity and the Services functions (based across England). 

The key elements of the role include:-

  • IT Project Management & IT Strategy
  • IT Training for the organisation
  • Line Management ( IT Officer) & Supplier Management 
  • Identifying and recommending cost - efffective technology solutions

Duties will include developing IT strategy and IT procurement; looking for creative ways to deliver organisational effectiveness through technology and providing broad IT support to all staff.

The ideal candidate will be well organised; have excellent knowledge of IT; experienced in people management; have the ability to support non-technical users; experienced in moving to Cloud Solutions and must be a confident communicator who is comfortable liaising with staff at all levels. Experience of Sharepoint, O365 and Skype for Business would be an advantage.

Our Finance & Corporate Services Team ensures the smooth running of the charity in terms of Finance, HR, IT and support services to Beanstalk’s local offices located across England.
